William P. Lauder, executive chairman, The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) visited the company’s Northtec campus in Bristol, PA, to meet with employees and share his gratitude for their ongoing efforts to power possibilities across ELC facilities. Lauder's day in Bristol began with the opportunity to tour the facilities and see enhancements happening across Northtec campus firsthand. The local leadership team had a chance to spend time in conversation with him to discuss numerous technological updates as well as the continued achievements of the larger team. In honor of National Safety Month in June, and to underscore ELC's longstanding commitment to the health and safety of ELC employees, Lauder took the opportunity to celebrate and recognize the local team's commitments to work diligently to create safe working environments for their colleagues. Later that day, as part of his ongoing educational townhall series, “The Art and Science of Gratitude,” he sat down with over 100 employees to discuss the importance of expressing gratitude every day. The conversation, moderated by Ken Pickett, VP-NA distribution, allowed Lauder to share his deep appreciation for ELC colleagues, consumers and stakeholders, while also providing research-backed insights to support embracing an attitude of gratitude at ELC and beyond. The session ended with special remarks acknowledging the great work of Northtec employees from George Kuzma, SVP-Americas supply chain and Alexander Gregorian, SVP-global manufacturing. “As he always says, our greatest strengths are our great brands and great people. William’s passion is teaching and developing people. It’s why we’re here today, and it’s why he spends countless hours in sessions like these,” said Kuzmae. Following the townhall, Lauder sat down with emerging talent, employees from the Development Supervisor and Step and Climb programs, and students from Bucks County Community College. The student attendees were among those who benefit from initiatives such as the Supply Chain Scholars Program in partnership with Bucks County Community College and Temple University’s Fox School of Business. This intimate discussion allowed for students to gain valuable insights from Lauder and walk away feeling optimistic about their futures.
