16th ICIS World Surfactants Conference is May 6-7 in Jersey City, NJ

The 16th ICIS World Surfactants Conference—where senior leaders and experts from across the global surfactants value chain address critical challenges and new technologies shaping the sector—will be held May 6-7 in Jersey City, NJ.

Key sessions will explore the global economic outlook, corporate strategy and competitive dynamics, alongside in-depth discussions on sustainability, circularity and the transition to bio-based and low-carbon surfactants. Innovation will be a central focus, with presentations covering COâ‚‚-based technologies, biotechnology and renewable feedstocks.

The agenda features dedicated panel discussions on regulatory developments, consumer perceptions of sustainability and strategic sourcing, alongside market outlooks from ICIS analysts covering key surfactant feedstocks. Confirmed speakers include senior representatives from organizations such as Unilever, Sasol, Clariant, Unilever, Novonesis, Econic Technologies, Verbio and Viridi.

Surfactants Training Course

The conference will be preceded by a one-day training course on May 5 led by surfactants expert Neil Burns, providing a comprehensive overview of surfactant markets, supply and demand fundamentals, pricing drivers and future trends.

This year’s conference will be at new venue, The Westin Jersey City Newport.
