Announces a new plan that will eliminate approximately 3.5% of its global staff.
February 19, 2026
By: Christine Esposito
Editor-in-Chief
Kenvue plans to cut approximately 3.5% of its global workforce as part of an initiative to “optimize its operating model, transform its supply chain, reduce complexity, and drive operational efficiencies, while strengthening core capabilities.”
At the end of 2024, Kenvue employed about 22,000; approximately 25% of those employees were based in North America, 28% in EMEA, 28% in APAC and 19% in LATAM.
The workforce reduction announcement was made on Feb. 17 with the release its fiscal Q4 and full year results.
For the fiscal fourth quarter ended Dec. 28, 2025, Kenvue’s net sales increased 3.2% vs the prior year period, primarily reflecting organic sales growth of 1.2% and a foreign currency benefit of 2.1%. Skin health and beauty fourth quarter net sales increased 2.9% vs the prior year period, primarily reflecting a foreign currency benefit of 1.6% and organic sales growth of 1.5%, according to the maker of Neutrogena skin care and Johnson’s baby care products.
Kenvue’s full year net sales decreased 2.1% vs the prior year period, primarily reflecting organic sales decline of 2.2%, partially offset by foreign currency benefit of 0.2%.
Kenvue entered into a definitive merger agreement in November 2025 with Kimberly-Clark; K-C will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Kenvue common stock in a cash and stock transaction.
“We ended 2025 with stronger top- and bottom-line performance in the fourth quarter, which reflected both disciplined execution against our strategic priorities, as well as a more favorable year-ago comparison on sales,” said Kirk Perry, CEO. “As we look to 2026, we remain focused on continuing to enhance our performance, while progressing toward completion of our value-creating combination with Kimberly-Clark.”
