St. Ives Renewing Collagen & Elastin Body Lotion is a non-greasy moisturizer designed to revive dry skin by combining essential collagen and elastin proteins with 100% natural moisturizers.

Anti-aging is no longer just about the face.

With longevity a leading skin care trend, youth preservation entails the entire body. All the concerns that plagued beauty enthusiasts – from mature skin in the form of crepiness and sagging, to acne and firming – is extending to the body to include the décolletage down to the legs.

Recently, analysts at Spate say a wave of body care brands has fueled the skinification of body care. Currently, two of the moment’s fastest-growing trends are collagen and retinol body lotions.

Collagen Body Lotion

Collagen body lotions are on the rise. Analysts say the trend has grown by 154.5% compared to last year, and across platforms. On Search, it’s up 72.4%, while on TikTok it’s increased by 195.4%, and on Instagram by over 1,000%. TikTok currently owns this trend with a 76.9% Popularity Share, and it receives 2,900 average monthly Google searches and 71,900 average weekly TikTok views.

On Search, the top ingredient associated with this trend is elastin (1,300 average monthly searches) — a protein that works alongside collagen to maintain the skin’s elasticity and resilience. Today’s ingredient-savvy beauty consumers are aware of which ingredients complement one another to boost performance. The top brands searched alongside collagen body lotion include Advanced Clinicals (930 average monthly searches) and St. Ives (720) – two under-$20 options that are affordably accessible when testing a new body lotion. On TikTok, the top-branded hashtag linked to the trend is #advancedclinicals, though it averages a mere 336 weekly views. This trend currently shows a high-paid views share of 62.4%, but a low engagement rate of 0.5%, suggesting strong potential for brands to activate creators through gifting or paid partnerships to drive authentic engagement.

Retinol Body Cream

Another skincare favorite, retinol body cream, has grown by 150.6% compared to last year, and across platforms. On Search, the trend is up 32.4%, while on TikTok it has increased 168.9%, and on Instagram 237.0%. TikTok dominates this trend with 82.4% Popularity Share. It receives 3,100 average monthly searches on Google and 150,200 average weekly views on TikTok.

On Search, there are no major branded queries appearing alongside this trend, suggesting a strong opportunity for brands to invest in Google Search and position themselves as the go-to option for retinol body creams. On TikTok, the top related hashtag is #dermatologist (503,400 average weekly views), which shows that consumers are actively looking for a dermatologist’s seal of approval. Because retinol is often perceived as a potent, nighttime-only ingredient, shoppers are doing more research before purchasing. Top related concern hashtags include #crepeyskin (101,700 average weekly views), #antiaging (100,800) and #keratosispilaris (22,200), highlighting the primary skin issues shoppers hope to address with retinol body creams. The top-related branded hashtag is #necessairepartner at 1,900 average weekly views.
