Bon Ami is part of the Faultless Brands family.

Faultless Brands, the company behind legacy home care and cleaning products like Bon Ami and Niagara, has been sold to NiTEO Products, a maker of household and automotive appearance products.

NiTEO purchased the venerable Kansas City, MO-based company from Architect Equity, a PE firm that acquired Faultless Brands in 2020.

NiTEO’s roster of products includes car washes such as CarBrite as well as household care brands Folex and Ozium. The acquisition will expand its presence in the home care market, according to officials.

“We are excited to combine such an iconic portfolio of brands into NiTEO to accelerate our success as a leader within household products. Faultless, Niagara, Magic and Bon Ami are highly recognizable, efficacious products that are top performers in their respective categories. We are looking forward to building upon the 138-year-old heritage of the portfolio and continuing to take these brands to new heights,” said John Rabenhorst, NiTEO CEO.

NiTEO is part of Highlander Partners, a Dallas-based private investment firm.

The Faultless roster of products includes its legacy brands like its namesake ironing products line, as well as newer brands, such as Lively, a specialty cleaning range that debuted in 2023.
