In the words of Stranger Things actor Jim Hopper, “Mornings are for coffee and contemplation.”
And, long, revitalizing showers!
In anticipation of Stranger Things’ season finale this month, Dr. Squatch has dropped a new soap collection inspired by the hit Netflix series, whose highly-anticipated season finale begins Dec. 31.
Dr. Squatch’s Stranger Things collection contains over 98% natural, cold process soaps and aluminum-free deodorants developed by the Dr. Squatch Odor Defense Lab. The product line and supporting campaign is a parody of old-school TV specials that channels Dr. Squatch’s humor and Stranger Things nostalgia into a single mission: rescue men’s showers from the upside down of synthetic ingredients. Content will run across brand-owned channels, including organic and paid social to reach fans throughout Stranger Things’ fifth and final season, and beyond.
“The Murray Bauman character is chaotic with a level of truth-seeking humor, which was the perfect way to dramatize the message we’ve been championing for years,” said John Ludeke, SVP of global marketing at Dr. Squatch. “Brett brought the same skepticism and curiosity we want guys to bring to their routines and the ingredients they’re putting on their skin.”
Dr. Squatch’s Stranger Things collection features four soaps and two deodorants that pay homage to Hawkins’ fan-favorite elements.
Vecna’s Curse is a heavy-grit bricc forged with pumice, coconut oil and ground vanilla vine with scent notes of juniper, blood orange and dark amber.
Squawk Signal is a light-grit bricc powered by pumice, coconut oil and wild orchard extract with scent notes of icy lavender and fizzy cherry soda. A complementary aluminum-free deodorant is available.
Hawkins Laboratory with Experiment No. 11 is a medium-grit bricc crafted with pumice, coconut oil and antioxidant-rich rainbow plant extract with notes of fresh citrus and cooling metallic iron.
Hellfire & Beyond is a medium-grit bricc loaded with pumice, coconut oil and dragon’s blood Eetract with scent notes of bold pepper, clove and leather. A complementary aluminum-free deodorant is available.
The Stranger Things 4-Pack ($32) and individual bars ($6 for subscribers) are available in Target stores nationwide and on drsquatch.com. Deodorants are available exclusively in Target stores and on target.com for $14 each.
