Church & Dwight Co. is reportedly planning to expand its operations in Old Fort, Ohio.

The $28 million investment will include an additional production line for the company’s unit dose detergent power packs. It will also create 40 jobs via a collaboration with JobsOhio, the Regional Growth Partnership and Seneca County to assist Church & Dwight’s ongoing growth in the region.

To support the project, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.304%, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

“Church & Dwight’s continued investment in Seneca County underscores the strength of Northwest Ohio’s manufacturing workforce and the confidence global brands have in Ohio’s ability to deliver quality, reliability and innovation,” said JP Nauseef, JobsOhio president and CEO.
