FDA’s Cosmetics Real-Time Adverse Events Reporting Dashboard

It is updated daily to include the most recent submissions.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) launched its public dashboard to report adverse effects from cosmetics. The FDA Adverse Events Reporting System (FAERS) Public Dashboard for Cosmetic Products is an interactive tool. It facilitates the public’s ability to query real-time adverse event data on cosmetic products. The user-friendly platform enables users to download report listings or data sets. It is updated daily to include the most recent submissions.

According to FDA, the launch marks another step forward in the Agency’s modernization strategy built on “radical transparency.” It follows the Agency’s recent announcement on real-time reporting of adverse event and medication errors data for drugs and therapeutic biologics.
