Inspired by 2024’s instant classic film, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the new soaps turn up the dial on beast-mode energy.

Anyone who hasn’t showered in a few days knows the angry feeling that can arise from smelling badly.
If any personal care brand knows how much being dirty and the need for a shower can elicit the beast within, it’s Dr. Squatch!
To placate the unclean savage, the “clean” soap maker is popping one question: Godzilla or King Kong?
More than rinsing away one’s beast-like alter ego when roaring for a bath, the brand took a page from the 2024 beloved classic film, “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” to inspire a shower showdown with the new dirt-fighting duo.
Whether Team Titan or Team Ape, these limited-edition bars and turning up the dial on beast-mode energy with bold scents, exfoliating grit and skin-loving ingredients, per brand officials.
Skin-conditioning ingredients buff away dead skin cells to make the user step outside the shower feeling wild, fierce and strong. (Cue the film’s theme song “Day After Day” by Badfinger for added drama!)
Godzilla Grit contains juniper, mint, smoked cedar, sand and sea salt while Kong Krush blends bergamot, nutmeg and incense for a bold, earthy scent.
Godzilla Grit and Kong Krush are available for $6 each to subscribers only and as a two- and four-pack on drsquatch.com.
