Kicking off in New York City this month, the tour will bring its sunscreen to 10 cities across the country ahead of summer 2025.

With summer 2025’s unofficial start five weeks away, Sun Bum is taking SPF on a coast-to-coast tour.
Kicking off in New York City this month, the tour will bring its sunscreen to 10 cities across the country through Memorial Day.
“Sun Bum has its roots in Cocoa Beach, where a small group of friends decided to make better products to help protect them and their loved ones from the harmful effects of the relentless Florida sun,” said Evan Slater, chief marketing officer at Sun Bum. “This will always be our mission, and we’re excited to connect with communities around the country and beyond who feel the same way about enjoying the outdoors and protecting their skin. It doesn’t have to be a choice.”
Sun Bum is also teaming with the Skin Cancer Foundation for the third consecutive year, sponsoring the annual Destination Healthy Skin. The partnership will bring free skin cancer screenings and education to communities nationwide. To further amplify the campaign’s impact, Sun Bum will unveil out-of-home displays in New York, San Diego and Chicago. The brand will also distribute sun care resources across its social media platforms and website – rolling out content in partnership with talent like Ana Stowell, Graydon Cutler, Ava Jules and Ella McFadin. Together, they’ll use their platforms to inspire people to make sunscreen a daily habit and share helpful tips on sun protection.
As the first major activation under “Trust The Bum,” Sun Bum’s mission to make sun care second nature, the tour will bring free sunscreen to 10 cities across the US.
The Trust The Bum Tour officially kicks off in New York City on April 19 with a taco truck takeover in SoHo against the backdrop of a newly unveiled hand-painted mural featuring the brand’s mascot, Sonny. From there, the tour will travel across the country, bringing unique experiences to every stop–whether it’s catching waves in Waco, playing bocce ball at a nursing home in Plano or celebrating music in New Orleans.
