Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Represent J Rettenmaier USA in the home and personal care markets.
• With National Sales Manager, participate in creation of new business growth strategy for all Home and Personal Care accounts.
• Meet or exceed plan for revenues, volume, and gross margin of market products.
• Direct sales to end users and distributors.
• Maintain record of activities via established call and sales reporting methods. 
• Determine what information, data, or prototypes are required and organize with JRettenmaier Home and Personal Care R&D team accordingly.
• A minimum of 50% travel.
• Exhibit in and present at appropriate trade shows, conferences, and expositions.
• Develop relationships with key upper level decision makers at target accounts.
• Development of new customer leads through membership in business and technical associations.
• Generate quotes to be recorded in SAP.
• Research customer, competition, application, and market information.
• Create sales call reports and appropriate customer data.
• Provide input on format, layout and printing/creation of marketing materials such as technical data sheets, newsletters and promotional giveaway materials.
• Creation of sales forecasts for production planning and annual budget process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Expertise
• Bachelor degree in science or engineering.
• Proven consistent sales/sales management track record preferably with personal care and home ingredients.
• Experience working remote.
• Able to effectively communicate on the telephone, in person, and in writing.
• Competent use of business English in formal communication via email, letter and presentations.
• Experience with international business partners, specifically German, a plus.
• Valid documentation for ability to travel internationally.
