Seiwa Kasei’s New Bonding Ingredient Increases Hair Volume

Aminoreact TsV activates the hair bonding structure to lock in moisture and retain elasticity.

Japanese ingredient supplier Seiwa Kasei has developed a new ingredient to give limp strands a leg up when it comes to body and volume.

Introducing Aminoreact TsV.

Aminoreact TsV activates the hair bonding structure, Cell Membrane Complex (CMC), or the hair’s “moisture pathway,” to lock in moisture and retain elasticity to prevent dryness and thereby follicular damage. Aminoreact TsV penetrates hair, strengthens CMC binding and increases friction, which helps prevent shifts in hair structure and enhances hair body.

An active component of Aminoreact TsV is an amino acid derivative called Sodium Tosyl Valinate, which is a valine, one of amino acids. Valine is one of the branched chain amino acids and plays an important role in protein synthesis, particularly related to growing and repairing of muscle, skin and hair.

Aminoreact TsV increases flexural rigidity post-treatment. Flexural rigidity is a measure of how much an object resists the force to bend it and is related to the bounce and firmness of hair.

Hair treated with Aminoreact TsV increases flexural rigidity, which thereby increases hair firmness, said the company.
