Coptis appointed Roland de Heere chief executive officer. He takes over from Jonathan Coeur who assumed the role of Deputy CEO, Global, at the company when the Extens equity funds came on board in 2021.

de Heere has more than a decade of experience in leadership, strategic planning and operational management across multiple industries. Before joining Coptis, de Heere’s journey was in the tech industry. The past four years, he managed Redspher’s operations, overseeing a €300 million revenue ecosystem and leading a team of over 340 employees. From 2018 to 2021, as CEO, he turned Upela into a key player in the e-commerce and logistics space with €12 million in revenue.

“In 2025, our goal is to strengthen our commitment to our customers. We aspire for Coptis to be more than just a tool—a true partner in optimizing your R&D processes,” said de Heere. “Our ambition is to provide cosmetic laboratories with solutions that save time, reduce constraints and allow you to focus on what matters most, innovation. Together, we will continue to push boundaries and write this inspiring story, overcoming every challenge the future holds.”

As CEO, de Heere will leverage his diverse experience to drive innovation and growth. His deep understanding of technology, customer-centric approaches and operational excellence position him to lead Coptis into a new era and strengthen its impact on the cosmetics industry through cutting-edge solutions, according to the company.
