Nutrafol is heading into its next chapter of growth.

After nearly a decade at the helm since founding the brand in 2016, Giorgos Tsetis has transitioned into a new role as chairman of the brand and strategic advisory to Unilever Wellbeing.

Tsetis will step into his new role on Jan. 1, 2025 while Cindy Gustafson, currently Nutrafol’s chief marketing officer, will begin her role as CEO. Gustafson brings more than two decades of marketing leadership as global chief marketing officer of Weight Watchers International where she successfully led the company’s efforts to build a global marketing practice.

The brand says it has achieved three times growth in the two years since Unilever acquired the company for an estimated $1.2 billion. It achieved 40% year-over-year (YoY) growth and 70% profit dollar increase in 2023. Direct traffic to Nutrafol.com increased 76% YoY (2023 to 2024). The brand also sells a bottle of its Hair Growth supplements every five seconds and a 380% subscriber growth in three years.
