P2 Science launched two innovative products: Citropol DE-4 and Citropol V6 for cosmetics and personal care.

Citropol is a growing family of natural-based ingredients made from upcycled forest-derived terpenes and consciously sourced materials. Citropol products are biodegradable for sustainability from start to finish, said the company. 

Citropol polymeric emollients mark a significant milestone in beauty industry innovation as the first new liquid polymeric emollients launched since silicones, said P2 Science.

Citropol DE-4 is a unique and multifunctional high molecular weight polymeric emollient. It can create rich and luxurious textures, elevate the sensory experience of commonly used alkanes, and is shown to provide conditioning benefits for hair, especially curly and textured hair. Its rich texture is ideal for various formulations, including skin and hair care, rinse-off and color cosmetics.
