It’s one thing for beauty enthusiasts to have a field day purchasing their favorite makeup products from their favorite brands, but their staying power is just as key.

According to the analysts at market research firm Spate, this is especially true of French makeup wearers. Currently, Charlotte Tilbury and Huda Beauty are leading the way for the top increasing makeup brands in France. Analysts say searches are driven by setting sprays or powders—suggesting a growing interest in makeup longevity.

French makeup wearers are searching for Charlotte Tilbury, with an average of 123.1K monthly searches and a +53.3K increase in average monthly searches compared to last year, per Spate. They’re interested in a wide array of products, including blush, bronzer, and setting spray. Searches show terms like calendrier de l’avent, rouge à lèvres and poudre, demonstrating their interest in a variety of makeup products. For global brands, the data provides significant insight into the diverse preferences of the French market.

Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, may reside in Dubai, but the makeup mogul has a hold on many different global shoppers. Currently, analysts are seeing 105.1K average monthly searches for Huda Beauty and a +47.4K increase in average monthly searches compared to last year. French consumers are searching for poudre Huda (powder) as well as fond de teint Huda Beauty (foundation), indicating that base makeup is top of mind.
