Phase A - In main vessel, add Phase A in formula order. Begin mixing with shear blade at 200 to 300 rpm. Phase B - Add Phase B ingredients in formula order to Phase A mixing gently until uniform. Phase C - In a side vessel, pre-mix Phase C until a uniform clear solution forms. When Phase AB is uniform add Phase C. The mixture will become translucent on addition. Phase D - Add Phase D, and adjust the pH and viscosity as needed with citric acid and salt. Phase E - Add Phase E, then transfer to a suitable holding vessel.
pH: 6.5 to 7.5. Viscosity: spindle #4 @ 30 rpm (25°C) - 5,000 to 7,000 cst. Appearance: Translucent gel.
