SCC Achievement Awards

Will be presented at the 76th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase in Los Angeles in December.

Each year, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists recognizes individuals for their significant contributions to the field of cosmetic science – through technical contributions, leadership, and/or exceptional service to the Society. This year, the awards will be presented to recipients at the 76th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase, in Los Angeles, CA in December.

The SCC awards include:
•  Maison G. deNavarre Medal Award: The Maison G. deNavarre Medal Award is the Society’s highest honor. It is named after Society of Cosmetic Chemists founder Maison G. deNavarre and is designed to recognize an individual for accomplishments in activities supporting the best interests of the cosmetic industry through technical contributions. Membership in SCC not required. 
•  Florence Wall Women in Cosmetic Chemistry Award: The Florence Wall Women in Cosmetic Chemistry Award recognizes a woman for significant accomplishments in the cosmetic industry through technical contributions, leadership skills and business excellence. Membership in SCC preferred, but not required. 
• Robert A. Kramer Lifetime Service Award: The Robert A. Kramer Lifetime Service Award is presented to an individual who has given extraordinary service and distinguished leadership in Society activities over the course of their membership. Membership in SCC required. 
• SCC Merit Award: The Society of Cosmetic Chemists Merit Award is presented to an individual in recognition of outstanding service, distinguished leadership, and exceptional contributions to the Society on a National level. Membership in SCC required.
