Rhodia recently presented a variety of innovations for the hair care marketplace. Based on its expertise in guar chemistry, the company continues to extend its Jaguar C natural polymer range to deliver conditioning performance in shampoos, conditioners and masks—as seen with Jaguar C 162, a non ecotoxic conditioning guar polymer to repair and protect heavily damaged hair. In the cleansing segment, Rhodia has extended Miracare SLB, a structured surfactant liquid system to hair care solutions. It demonstrates strong performance in moisturizing, boosting fragrance and repairing damaged hair together with protection and revival of hair color, said the company. Rhodia also introduced in its hair conditioning range Mackine 301, a non-quaternized amidoamine surfactant to create hair conditioners and masks for both damaged and healthy hair. It is an ideal alternative to conventional CTAC (Cetrimonium Chloride), providing good conditioning properties, excellent viscosity building and easy-to-process solutions for formulators, said Rhodia. Meanwhile, the Fentacare range of cationic surfactants includes CTAC, BTAC and BTMS that are ideally suited to design hair masks and rinse off conditioners, which exhibit excellent conditioning properties. Completing its hair care range, Rhodia offers Mirapol synthetic polymers for multiple types of conditioning shampoos. More info: www.rhodia.com
