As a global family business – strongly influenced by our founding couple Christina Oster-Daum and Javier González – we are one of the largest cosmetics companies in Germany.

Since our founding 20 years ago, we have grown rapidly: around 900 talented people at various locations around the world are working on our success story. Cosnova is a global family business influenced by founding couple Christina Oster-Daum and Javier González—and among the largest cosmetics companies in Germany. Since its founding 20 years ago, it has seen rapid expansion employing around 900 people at various locations around the world. Last year, sales jumped 17%. As a result, the Group doubled the size of its business in just three years. .

In March 2025, the Group launched its first employer branding campaign. Through robust out-of-home, online and social media presence, the company aims to increase its visibility among new talent, particularly in the Rhine-Main region. Also in March, Cosnova’s Essence brand launched one of the first TikTok Shops in Germany.

In May, Cosnova earned the Bronze prize at the German Digital Award 2025 for its Essence podcast campaign, “From Hate to Happiness.”
