Kelsie Sicinski focuses her practice on consumer products matters, including regulatory compliance and enforcement concerning the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state regulation of the marketing and sale of consumer products. She regularly counsels food and beverage and consumer products companies on issues related to advertising and marketing claims, and provides guidance regarding Food and Drug Administration (FDA), FTC, National Advertising Division (NAD), and litigation considerations and risks. Kelsie also helps retailers, manufacturers, and importers assess their compliance with CPSC regulations, determine when it is appropriate to notify CPSC of potential safety issues, avoid unnecessary recalls, and develop effective correction action plans. Additionally, she assists U.S. importers of wood, wood products, and wildlife with compliance and enforcement issues under the Lacey Act and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). Kelsie also has experience assisting clients in a variety of litigation matters in federal and state courts, and is committed to maintaining an active pro bono practice.
